Do I have to live in Lakewood Heights to come?
No!
Do I have to attend all the events?
No! You're welcome to come to as little or as much as you're able to. We've divided cleanups into zones if you'd like to participate in picking up your specific part of the neighborhood.
Can I just attend the lunch?
Yes! Trashfest's purpose is to build community and keep our neighborhood clean. There will be lots of food to go around, and we encourage everyone to attend lunch, even if you're unable to help pick up trash!
Are supplies provided?
Yes! Thanks to Keep Atlanta Beautiful, Lakewood Trash is able to provide gloves, safety vests, trash grabbers, and trashbags for free!

How do I get a free beer?
To receive a ticket (1-2 free beers) you must help with trash cleanup or as a volunteer throughout the weekend. Event staff will have tickets, and will distribute them. The tickets can be redeemed at Ideal Sportsbar on Saturday (September 21) between 5:30-7pm for a free domestic draft beer. (While supplies last)
How do I know who is part of the event staff?
All Lakewood Trash leadership / event staff will be wearing pink safety vests and can help with any questions!
What if it rains?
Trashfest is happening rain or shine! Breakfast & lunch will be held at the covered pavilion in South Bend Park.
